Realistic Beer rendered in 3D

3D beer rendering — Ratsherrn, full range relaunch

This 3D beer rendering project was created for the full product range relaunch of Ratsherrn — one of Hamburg’s most beloved craft beer brands — and it shows exactly why CGI has become the tool of choice for beverage marketing. Furthermore, when every product visual comes from a single pipeline, the result is a cohesive, consistent brand appearance across every SKU, every channel, every format.

3D beer rendering — one pipeline, one look

For this project, therefore, we rendered the complete product line from scratch — bottles, cans, packaging — with materials, reflections, and condensation built to look more tactile than a photograph. The goal, however, was not just to make the beer look good. It was to make the brand feel unified. That is what separates professional 3D beer rendering from a quick studio shoot: once the scene is built, every variant, every colour update, every new product extension is a fast iteration — not a new production. Brands grow. Ranges expand. CGI, however, keeps up — without additional production cost.

Why brands choose CGI over photography

A traditional photo shoot locks you into one moment, one setup, one result. CGI, therefore, changes the equation entirely. Every element is adjustable — light, angle, background, label, fill level. No reshoots. No inconsistencies. Just a visual system that scales. If you want the technical side of what makes beer look real in 3D — the foam, the glass, the condensation — read our in-depth piece: Photorealistic beer condensation in 3D — and why it changes everything.

More beverage CGI

Beer is not the only thing we pour into a renderer. Indeed, we work across the full beverage spectrum — see also our spirits and cider work. See how we handled spirits in our Full CGI – EDEN Whiskey project.

Your product. Our render. Whether it’s a full range relaunch or a single hero image, we deliver. Let’s talk.
