Beard Oil — CG & Photo

This beard oil CGI rendering started with a client brief and ended with a product visual the client couldn’t find anywhere else. The bottle was built and rendered in Blender — every material dialed in to capture the weight of glass and the warmth of the oil inside. The background came together in Photoshop, layering dust and atmosphere until the scene felt tactile and real. Final retouching tied everything together: colour grading, light refinement, and the kind of polish that makes a product look better than it does on a shelf.

Beard oil CGI rendering that convinced after others couldn’t

The client had already approached several providers before reaching out to Lauktien.Studio. None of them delivered what he had in mind. We did — on the first round. He told us directly: this was the rendering that finally matched his vision. That kind of feedback is exactly why we push for precision over speed. For a client product like this, we also adjusted the label to protect confidential branding, while keeping the visual integrity fully intact. The result is a product visual that works equally well for e-commerce, social media, and print — and if listings are part of the goal, our guide on Amazon product images is worth a read.

Why brands choose CGI over product photography

A traditional photo shoot for a beauty or grooming product means studio time, logistics, and limited control over material rendering — especially for glass and liquid. With our 3D product visualisation service, we control every variable: the light, the surface imperfections, the refraction inside the bottle. Furthermore, revisions don’t require a reshoot. If the brand direction shifts, the scene adapts. That’s a significant advantage when you’re working towards campaign-ready assets. If you want to understand the full argument, our piece on CGI vs product photography lays it out honestly.
