Products in their most striking form – high end retouching
Retouching underlines and emphasizes every bit of beauty without distorting the reality. It makes the viewers marvel and emotionalizes them, with the effect of encouraging them to consider buying the product.
Free project – February 2013. Together with Adrian Albrecht, we worked out the ideal lighting situation for my self-designed snare drum in the studio. After taking a few good photographs, the raw material was retouched and digitally edited in Photoshop for many hours. I removed imperfections, incorrect light reflections, dust, and other disturbances, adjusted and intensified the colors, optimized the tonal values, and finally added a few surreal lighting effects. I am proud to present the result here: a high-quality product image/advertising image of a snare drum.
