Ron Zacapa CGI visual — rum as pirate treasure
This Ron Zacapa CGI visual started in a photo studio with a treasure chest and a handful of gold coins. Crashing waves, a fresh salty breeze, soft sand, the rustle of palm leaves, cheering pirates, and curious seagulls — that was the setting we built around the bottle. The treasure chest, half open, filled with gold and topped with a full bottle of Zacapa rum. Indeed, a feast for the eyes.
Ron Zacapa CGI visual — studio shoot and post-production
We shot the physical elements first — the chest, the coins, the bottle packshot — then rebuilt the entire Caribbean scene digitally through creative retouching in post-production. Furthermore, the gold coins were duplicated, the ocean constructed, the sky and atmosphere added layer by layer. As a result, the final image reads as a single scene rather than a product placed in front of a background. The making-of and behind-the-scenes shots show exactly how the studio build translated into the final composite. Furthermore, the approach — real product, digital environment — gives the bottle both physical credibility and visual grandeur.
Why beverage brands choose concept-driven visuals
A straight product shot communicates what a bottle looks like. A concept visual communicates what it feels like. However, for premium spirits, the feeling is the product — and a Caribbean treasure scene does more for the brand than any neutral background ever could. Our piece on CGI vs product photography covers the production argument directly. See also our vodka CGI visual and Eden Whiskey CGI visualisation for more premium spirits work.
More beverage and spirits CGI work
Your product. Our scene. Whether it’s a rum, a whiskey, or any premium spirit that deserves a visual as strong as the product itself — we build the world around it. Let’s talk.
