Awarded Artwork: An island with palm trees, sun loungers, and a pool in the shape of a Logo – A CG and Photoshop combination
When Rüdiger Lauktien was still creating his digital artworks as a lone wolf under the banner of “Stilknecht,” he came up with the idea of visualizing his logo at the time from a bird’s eye view in the form of an island.

This artwork has been awarded with the famous “200Best Digital Artists worldwide” Award by Lürzer’s Archive.
The idea was implemented with the help of stock images and 3D renderings. The inner part of the island with the palm trees, rocks, and architecture was visualized in 3D, rendered, and inserted into the visual during post-production in Photoshop using Creative Retouching. The surroundings, such as the beach and the sea, are real photos and were also used via digital image processing. In this case, the drone images are not from a photo shoot by Lauktien.Studio
